Born in Jamaica and transplanted to New York City and Toronto, DJ GrooveHeart’s musical roots are grounded in beats, rhythms and melodies.  Early experiences at the legendary Paradise Garage shaped her love for dance music that cuts across genres. Now based in Vancouver, GrooveHeart enjoys playing festivals, community and corporate events, private parties, and spins often for the skaters at Rollerland @ The PNE. Specializing in throwback anthems and hidden gems, she continues to curate a diverse collection of infectious grooves that draw you to the dance floor and keep you there. Whether it’s funk, soul, R&B, hip-hop, disco, dance, house, pop, rock ... GrooveHeart finds the tracks that get you moving, body and soul.  Sharing joy through music and dance!
